Bagan Lalang is an excellent place for shopping - if you consider raw seafood as choice products. Being a fishing village, there is a constant supply of fresh fish, crabs, prawns, squid, cockles, clams and oysters that come directly from boats each day. The wet market, housed under a wooden terrace, is situated at the northern end of Bagan Lalang beach; this is where you can view and purchase come of the day's catch morning till evening. Prices are of course much cheaper compared to buying at the city. A bazaar (Pasar Malam) also takes place on an open field during weekends, while shops can be found further down the beach at the new building developments.
